On the 23rd of July, 2016, The College held The Tavern Feast of Saint Andronicus at the Ainslie Scout Hall.
In the afternoon was held The Tournament of The Lion, which drew 9 armoured combatants for a round-robin competition. The finals were fought between Adam the Renegade and Jarl Njal inn Grettir, with Jarl Njal emerging victorious.
The Fencers also had a most entertaining one-round speed drinking contest, fought between Don Lorcan and Master Owain, which ended in a draw – and one might even go so far as to say the real winners were the spectators.
In the evening we drank, feasted, gamed, sang, danced, and catapulted, and by all accounts good fun was had by all!
